Frequently asked questions
Is Emotional Therapy the same as Counselling?
Whilst similar, Emotional Therapy works at a very deep level, using the feelings to work through the problem, rather than the mind to analyse it. Having ascertained the original wound, which may or may not be back in childhood, or necessarily even a physical wound, the emotions involved are then safely and completely released. Hence, a new response to future difficult situations will be created and adopted.
How often will it be necessary to meet with you?
In the initial stages, once a week would be advisable and if you wish to have the same time each week, this can be booked in advance. However, as the therapy progresses we can change to fortnightly sessions or even monthly.
